Two nights ago I had a dream that I was going to lead a yoga workshop at my old yoga center. But as I went to get in the car in my garage I started thinking of all of these things I needed to bring…. Like my bicycle. And I tried to fit it in the car then I thought, “I don’t need this! What am I doing??” So I left it and grabbed a pile of papers and a huge framed painting. I stuck them in the front seat.
Then I had to pick up two guys – one was a friend’s husband. It made no sense!
Then we had to make a bathroom stop and I lost the two guys. I was late so I decided I’m just going to go by myself, but the car had all this stuff in it, the painting was in my way and the gas pedal pushed all the way down still only made the car go like a kid’s toy car.
Then I woke up.
I believe in my dreams. I have had prophetic dreams and dreams of loved ones who are on the other side. And I use my dreams. I ask before bed for a message or an answer or to see something more clearly. I had recently been asking for messages of guidance as to how to keep moving forward in my work life. So then there is this dream where its hard to get where I know I want to go because I’m bringing all of this stuff and these random people with me. Hmmm.
And this weekend is a partial solar eclipse (last night around midnight) and a new moon today in Virgo and the astrologers are freaking out about this as a time for complete transformation and new beginnings and a time to let go of old negative patterns and habits. So… to not bring all this unnecessary stuff on your journey forward.
I read on one astrology site that this is the end of a cycle astrologically that started with an eclipse on September 1st, 1997. It said What was happening in your life then?
OMG! I know exactly what was happening. It was the first day of my first marriage. I got married the day before on August 30, 1997. So that cycle is over today. WHEW! Finally.
Then it said: Where are you ready to make changes now?
Think about that for a second. Where are you ready to make changes now?
And I would ask then, who or what can you let go of to make changes more easily in that area. Let’s not fill the vehicle with junk and other people’s old messages before we start the journey to the new place.
Let it go. Write it down. Burn it. That’s what we did at SoL Celebration today.
I’ll give you a minute. Go do that and come back.
Ok, so now what?
Now intend. Use the mind. The mind is meant to be used, to serve us and the world. We often get it backwards and follow the mind’s whims and fears and ups and downs when actually we are supposed to use its creative power. It either runs its old tapes and the default programs in there or we put a new program in.
Install Goodness… Godness.
The Bhagavad Gita 6.5 says:
One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and his enemy as well.
And A Course in Miracles, Chapter 2:1 says:
Because of your likeness to your Creator you are creative. No child of God can lose this ability because it is inherent in what he is, but he can use it inappropriately by projecting. The inappropriate use of extension, or projection, occurs when you believe that some emptiness or lack exists in you, and that you can fill it with your own ideas instead of truth.
So get present and connect, in meditation, prayer or stillness. Call on your God or intermediary figures to be with you. When you’re There, from that place of Fullness and Truth, intend. Intend the new thing, the good thing, the thing you are inspired to feel or do or go for!
It’s the end of an old cycle and the start of a new one. What will you make of it?
I choose an affirmation card for the group before SoL Celebrations. This morning I chose this Crazy Sexy Love Notes card …”Risk It”.
Great things are born from those brave enough to fly – those who are willing to risk failure. Your dreams require action, and you’re ready to make a move. Remember you have nothing to lose. Even if you flop, you’ll receive valuable insight. So get off your butt and take a leap. Go for it!
Blessings on Our Loving Creations.
