A Surrender Prayer

Dear Spirit Who Dwells Within and Without
MotherGodFairy
Holy Oneness

I give up the struggle.
I give up the big idea.
I give You the reigns.

I let go… ideas of who I can be.
I let go… my concept of success.
I allow You to define things
(I am sure your imagination is bigger and broader).

I surrender my wits.
I acknowlegde Your Divine Wisdom.
I unite with You within myself, and in my Life
for the Most Glorious Good for All.

A Note on Names:

This prayer of Surrender has been “ready” for a couple of days (meaning I keep hearing the beginning of it in my head and know I need to sit down and let it flow out). It just started with “I give up…”. It wasn’t addressed to anyone. I play with the names of Spirit or God or Good (there I go again). I have nothing against any Name and also feel they are all inferior, or partial. So I hold them lightly. I take no offense. Male, female… not true, not true.

My 3-year-old came up with MotherGodFairy after recently acquiring the Cinderella DVD. She stresses the “God” part, like you would do in “Fairy God Mother”. Dyslexic perhaps, but as appropriate as any name… and not enough still.

  1. An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a co-worker who had been conducting a little homework on this. And he actually ordered me breakfast because I discovered it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending time to discuss this matter here on your web page.

    1. Thank you for taking time to comment. Glad something resonated…. and you got breakfast! 😀
